NTPC Bongaigaon observed Quality Month with a series of activities aimed at strengthening the culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the station. The observance began with Quality Pledge ceremonies held simultaneously at the New Administrative Building and the New Service Building, affirming the organisation’s commitment to high standards in every operational and service domain.

At the New Administrative Building, Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, led employees in taking the Quality Pledge. He emphasized that quality is not an occasional initiative but an ongoing discipline that must be reflected in every aspect of the workplace — from operational performance to service delivery and stakeholder engagement. He reiterated that embracing quality helps build trust and drives long-term organizational success.

At the plant, the pledge was administered by Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M), in the presence of Ahmed Mustafa Choudhury, AGM (C&I). Addressing departmental representatives, Gupta highlighted the importance of rigorous quality checks, strict adherence to standards, and shared responsibility in ensuring safe and reliable power generation. He noted that quality is central not only to operational efficiency but also to workplace safety and service reliability.

As part of the Quality Month observance, NTPC Bongaigaon has planned a range of activities and competitions designed to engage employees and encourage innovative thinking, systemic improvements, and greater accountability across departments.

The initiative reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s sustained commitment to achieving high operational standards and strengthening its journey toward excellence and reliability in power generation.
