Singapore Airlines
has launched a new gourmet in-flight menu together with celebrity chef Monica Galetti. The new offerings will include a four-course meal in Suites and First Class and a three-course menu for Business customers on flights departing from the UK.

The carrier has teamed up with chef and TV personality Monica Galetti for the new menu, which will be available exclusively to premium passengers flying out of the UK. The menu is inspired by Samoan-born Galetti’s South Pacific heritage and will feature four different menus each year – one for each season – complemented by Singapore Airlines’ award-winning wine collection.

Chef Monica Galetti said,

“After months of menu development, I am delighted to unveil my exclusive menu for Singapore Airlines. From fresh lobster to fine caviar and warming soups to locally sourced lamb, customers can expect a world-class in-flight dining experience onboard Singapore Airlines flights.”

The menus for Autumn (September to November) and Winter (December to February) have been released. A snapshot of the Autumn menu includes Yellowfin Tuna Oka (with caviar in Suites and First), Confit Lamb, and Galetti’s signature Hokey Pokey dessert consisting of chocolate and honeycomb, while the Winter menu will offer dishes such as Lobster Salad, Poached Cornish Turbot and a Paris-Brest pastry dessert.

Customers in these cabins will also have the option of selecting a European or Asian menu should they prefer. Furthermore, Singapore Airlines’ excellent ‘Book the Cook‘ service – which lets passengers select from a range of meals hand-picked by the Singapore Airlines International Culinary Panel – can be chosen up to 24 hours before departures.

She was born in Samoa and moved to New Zealand before training under the famed chef Michel Roux Jr in the UK. Her Spring menu will be available from March to May, and the Summer menu will rollout from June to August.
