Delta Air Lines
will reconnect its Atlanta hub with Brussels this summer after a five-year hiatus. The carrier will launch a thrice-weekly Boeing 767 service between ATL and the Belgian capital in June, which is among several new routes coming to its network this summer.
Delta to relaunch Atlanta-Brussels after five years
The carrier last flew between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) and Brussels Airport (BRU) in March 2020 before it scrapped the route due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Scheduling data from Cirium, an aviation analytics firm, shows the airline will deploy its Boeing 767-300ER fleet on this route three times a week (from June 10th, 2025) on the following timings:
- Flight DL140 (Tue, Thu, Sat) – Departs Atlanta at 18:00, arrives in Brussels at 08:40.
- Flight DL141 (Wed, Fri, Sun) – Departs Brussels at 10:45, arrives in Atlanta at 14:25.

This won’t be Delta’s only Brussels connection, as it currently operates a seasonal daily flight between New York JFK International (JFK) and Brussels. However, this seasonal route will be suspended between January 6th and March 8th, 2025 before resuming ahead of the summer season.
Cirium data shows that Delta was operating a daily service between ATL and BRU in the summer of 2019, alongside a daily JFK-BRU connection. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both routes were sidelined in early 2020. While its JFK connection would return in 2022, it will be a more than five-year hiatus before its Atlanta route resumes next June.

Its cities served will include Amsterdam, Stockholm, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen, Catania, Dublin, Edinburgh, Rome, Frankfurt, Geneva, Reykjavik, London (Gatwick and Heathrow), Lisbon, Madrid, Munich, Milan, Naples, Nice, Prague, Shannon, Venice, and Zurich.
