CBI Raids NALCO Headquarters in Bhubaneswar? Recruitment-Related Allegations Surface? – Indian PSU

The news world is abuzz with reports of a raid by the sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at the National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) headquarters in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in connection with alleged irregularities in mass recruitment.

According to sources, on September 30, 2025, CBI officials visited NALCO’s head office and reportedly examined certain files linked to recruitment procedures within the PSU. However, there has been no official confirmation from the CBI regarding the visit.

Efforts by www.indianpsu.com to seek comments/clarifications from NALCO Chairman and Managing Director, Brijendra Pratap Singh, remained unsuccessful, as calls and messages went unanswered.

The reason behind the reported raid remains unclear, and speculation continues in official and business circles.
