Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has urged customers to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) details by 30 November 2025, in line with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.

As part of the bank’s ongoing KYC compliance drive, customers whose accounts were due for KYC updation as of 30 September 2025 are required to submit updated information.

The necessary documents include:

  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Mobile number (if not already registered)
  • Any other KYC documents required by the bank

PNB customers may complete their KYC update through multiple channels:

  • Digital platforms including PNB ONE and Internet Banking Services (IBS)
  • WhatsApp, SMS, or by sending documents to the home branch via registered e-mail or post

The bank has cautioned that failure to update KYC details within the stipulated timeline may result in restrictions on account operations, as mandated by regulatory norms.

For more information or assistance, customers may visit the nearest PNB branch or check the official PNB website.

Caution: Customers are advised not to click on links or download files from unverified sources claiming to offer KYC update services, to avoid fraud and cyber-risks.
