Ashu Shinghal has assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GAIL Gas Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of GAIL (India) Limited, said an official company statement. he was serving as the Managing Director of Mahanagar Gas Limited till April 10, 2026 after which Praveer Kumar Srivastava was appointed Managing Director.
Shinghal is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, and also holds an MBA with a specialization in Operations Management.
He began his career with GAIL as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1991 and has spent more than 35 years in the hydrocarbon and natural gas sector.
