CONCOR’s MMLP Paradip handles maiden project cargo shipment for JSW Utkal Steel Plant under integrated logistics solutions
NEW DELHI : Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has successfully handled the maiden import shipment of project cargo for JSW Utkal’s upcoming steel plant at Utkal through its Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP), Paradip, marking a significant milestone in integrated project logistics operations.
The shipment comprised 25 units of 40-foot containers, managed under CONCOR’s comprehensive Total Logistics Solutions framework, showcasing the organization’s end-to-end logistics capabilities.
The operation included a complete spectrum of logistics services such as first- and last-mile transportation, customs clearance, Container Freight Station (CFS) handling, cargo storage in warehousing facilities, and coordinated execution through seamless collaboration with the port authorities, shipping lines, and customs officials.
The successful handling of the maiden shipment highlights CONCOR MMLP Paradip’s expertise in managing complex, large-scale project cargo requirements with operational precision and efficiency.
According to estimates, the JSW Utkal project cargo movement is expected to generate nearly 1,000 units of 40-foot containers over the next two years, opening up substantial opportunities for sustained logistics operations and cargo handling activity.
