The reusable packaging provider Orbis has expanded its production of bins for AutoStore automated storage and retrieval (AS/RS) systems, launching a second manufacturing site in Greenville, Texas.
The Texas facility become Orbis’ second AutoStore bin making site for North America, joining a factory in Toronto, Ontario, and strengthens Orbis’ ability to meet growing demand, the company said.
Orbis said its expertise in reusable packaging and plastic injection molding ensures that the bins meet the stringent specifications required for automated systems, delivering durability, precision and long-term performance. And in addition to AutoStore Bins, Orbis said it supports broader operations with reusable pallets for shipments and totes for work-in-process, covering more applications across facilities.
