NTPC Barh, IOCL Barauni Sign Mutual Aid Agreement to Strengthen Industrial Safety and Emergency Response – Indian PSU
In a significant step towards enhancing industrial safety and emergency preparedness, NTPC Barh and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Barauni have signed a Mutual Aid Agreement to strengthen inter-organizational cooperation in emergency response, firefighting, rescue operations, and resource sharing.
The agreement was signed by C. Satya Rama Krishna, Executive Director, NTPC Barh, and Satya Prakash, Executive Director & Refinery Head, IOCL Barauni, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.

The Mutual Aid Agreement establishes a structured framework for extending mutual support during industrial emergencies by facilitating the rapid mobilization of firefighting equipment, rescue resources, and technical expertise. It also aims to improve coordination and communication between NTPC Barh and IOCL Barauni, ensuring swift and effective response during critical situations.
As part of the collaboration, both organizations will conduct joint mock drills, safety exercises, and training programmes to strengthen emergency response capabilities, improve preparedness, and promote best practices in industrial safety.
The initiative reflects the shared commitment of NTPC and IOCL towards maintaining the highest standards of operational safety, protecting employees and assets, and fostering a culture of collaboration in managing industrial risks.
