CCL Organizes Training Programme on Role of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Decisions – Indian PSU

The Human Resource Development (HRD) Department of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a training programme on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Decision to familiarize participants with the effective applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the coal mining industry. A total of 52 finance officers participated in the programme.
The inaugural session was attended by Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, former General Manager (Systems) and faculty member Suresh Behera, General Manager (HRD) M.F. Haque, and Technical Secretary to Director (Finance) Sanjay Singh.
Addressing the participants, Pawan Kumar Mishra said that the use of AI would enhance transparency, efficiency, and timely decision-making. He added that benchmarking and AI-based skills would further strengthen the organization’s performance and competitiveness.
Sanjay Singh emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer an option but a necessity, stressing the need to adopt AI for continuous systemic improvement.
During the technical session, Suresh Behera explained the practical applications of AI in financial decision-making and process optimization.
The training programme was highly interactive and reaffirmed CCL’s commitment to developing a future-ready workforce through digital learning and innovation.
