NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the development of a 900 MW solar power project in Gujarat. The award marks a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion strategy and reinforces its commitment to supporting India’s clean energy transition.

The proposed solar project will be developed in Gujarat and is expected to play a key role in meeting the state’s growing demand for green electricity. Once commissioned, the project will generate a substantial amount of clean power, helping reduce carbon emissions while contributing to India’s ambitious renewable energy targets.

Under the Letter of Intent issued by GUVNL, NLC India Renewables Limited will establish the 900 MW solar power project.
