MOMBASA : DP World has signed an agreement with GulfCap Africa, founded by Suleiman Shahbal, to develop the 222-hectare Mombasa Industrial Park, a Special Economic Zone located less than 20km from the Port of Mombasa.
The first phase will span 40 hectares. Group CEO Yuvraj Narayan said the project strengthens integrated trade infrastructure, while Africa CEO Mohammed Akoojee said it will create employment and attract investment, pending completion of formal signing conditions.
