CCL Corporate Communications Department Wins Strategic Communication Leadership Award at ET Summit 2026 – Indian PSU

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has received the Strategic Communication Leadership Award at the ET Business Excellence & Leadership Summit 2026, recognising the company’s innovative initiatives in corporate communications, branding and public relations.

The award was presented by Indian film personality Rajeev Khandelwal at a ceremony in New Delhi. Alok Kumar Gupta, General Manager and Head of CCL’s Corporate Communications & Public Relations (CC&PR) Department, and Mayank Kashyap, Manager (CD), received the award on behalf of the company.

Under the leadership and guidance of CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, CCL has undertaken several initiatives to strengthen its corporate identity, enhance public engagement and expand its national media presence.

Key initiatives by the CC&PR Department include the design and implementation of CCL’s new logo and tagline, wall murals depicting the dedication of coal workers, the Kabad Se Kanchan initiative, War Against Wastage, and the National PR Conclave. The department also introduced a customised postal stamp dedicated to the spirit and contribution of coal workers.

CCL has also reported a qualitative increase in coverage across print, digital and electronic media in recent years, alongside efforts to strengthen media relations and bring greater visibility to the company’s activities.

The award recognises the department’s efforts in promoting creative communication strategies, innovative public relations practices and corporate branding. The recognition is expected to encourage further initiatives to strengthen CCL’s public image and communication outreach.
