Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organised a grand “Felicitation-cum-Validation Ceremony” to mark the successful conclusion of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2025 at its Headquarters. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees, dignitaries, and their families, celebrating three months of awareness-driven activities.

The ceremony commenced with a formal welcome of the distinguished guests, followed by a soulful group rendition of the Coal India song and a delightful welcome performance by the children of DAV Gandhinagar.

The programme was graced by Nilendu Kumar Singh, CMD, CCL, Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Finance), Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (HR), Shankar Nagachari, Director (Planning & Projects) and Pankaj Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). A large number of CCL staff members were also present.

Highlighting Three Months of Vigilance Activities

A special video showcasing various activities carried out as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign was screened, giving the audience an overview of the campaign’s scale, impact, and continuity.

In his welcome address, CVO Pankaj Kumar expressed satisfaction over the enthusiastic involvement of employees. He remarked that the campaign successfully transformed vigilance—often perceived as a serious subject—into an engaging and participatory initiative. He lauded the blood donation camp, calling it a reflection of employees’ social responsibility. Speaking about the extensive tree plantation efforts, he added, “Our endeavour is to ensure that our future generations live in a better environment than we did.”

CMD Emphasises Importance of Habitual Vigilance

Addressing the gathering, CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh highlighted that awareness comes from knowledge, while vigilance is a habit that must be consistently practiced. He urged employees to remain alert and adhere strictly to rules and procedures. He appreciated the scale at which the campaign was conducted for the second consecutive year and lauded the collection of 1,150 units of blood, demonstrating CCL’s commitment to societal well-being.

Release of “Viji Gyan Volume-2” & Felicitation of Achievers

During the event, the CMD, Directors, and CVO released “Viji Gyan Volume-2”, a publication encapsulating key insights and experiences related to vigilance.

A series of awards were presented to “CCL ke Lal”, “CCL ki Ladli”, employees, officers, and departments excelling in various competitions conducted during Vigilance Mahotsav. Children of employees were also recognised for their outstanding talent and participation. A vibrant group dance further added colour to the celebration.

Grand Kavi Sammelan Enthralls Audience

The concluding segment featured a spectacular Kavi Sammelan, where distinguished poets including Padmashree (Dr.) Ashok Chakradhar, Shri Sundar Kataria, Shri Kumar Brijendra, Shri Shambhu Shikhar, and Smt. Ankita Singh captivated the gathering with their enthralling performances.
