Delta Air Lines Kicks Off Cyber Monday Early With Exclusive Deals And Bonus Miles

Delta Air Lines’ winter deals are back, with select exclusive members getting a head start before the offerings become available to everyone. The holiday season around Thanksgiving and Christmas is one of the busiest in terms of air travel, and Delta gives out great deals during this time to lock in customers for several weeks of travel.

Delta Air Lines has brought forward its Cyber Monday travel offers this time around, giving a head start to its Medallion® Members and Delta SkyMiles® Amex Card Members by opening the offer for them on November 13. For the rest, the deals will become available on November 14.

Guests only have a few weeks to grab exciting deals with Delta, as the promotion is available from November 13 to December 4, 2024. Delta is offering a chance for passengers to earn a lot more miles for every dollar spent on things like gift cards, Delta Stays, and Delta Car bookings. In a statement to Travel + Leisure, Delta said,

“The holiday season is officially here, and Delta is making it even brighter with its largest collection of winter deals.”

Delta highlights that all SkyMiles program rules apply to SkyMiles program membership, miles, offers, mile accrual, mile redemption, and travel benefits.

What’s on offer?

While a promotion like this seems lucrative for many passengers, those who were already planning to purchase a Delta travel card or book a vacation through Delta Vacations can benefit from this in particular. According to Delta’s website, the winter deals include the following:

• Delta Gift Cards: If you’re planning to buy a gift card for loved ones or even yourself, this deal could earn up to 5x miles when you buy $400 or more in Delta Gift Cards.
• Delta Cars: Opportunity to earn 4x miles when you rent through Delta Cars for travel through February 2025.
• Delta Stays: Earn 4x miles on Delta Stays bookings for travel through February 2025.

• Delta Vacations: Guests who book with Delta Vacations can get 10% more for their miles on travel through June 2025.
• Delta Cruises: Earn 4x miles with Delta Cruises on sailings through December 2025.
• Skymiles shopping: Opportunities to earn miles and access the year’s best deals, hundreds of coupons, free shipping, and elevated-mile offers on gifts and more at 1,000+ SkyMiles Shopping stores.

Other recent offerings

This isn’t the only customer-centric offering Delta has announced recently. Last month, the airline said it would roll out a more accessible flight map for its in-flight entertainment systems.

Almost half of Delta’s customers engage with maps during flights, and while the carrier’s maps already meet all Americans with Disabilities Act and European Accessibility Act standards, it has added more features to make it more inclusive. These include high-contrast visuals and large text and icons, among other things.

Delta recently also announced that it will feature new interiors on its Boeing 757 and Airbus A350 fleet, with the eventual plan to have these new interiors on the entire Delta fleet.
