How many times have you heard people complain that the Tesla touchscreen takes on too many tasks, that it would be better to have buttons and knobs for some things that you want to easily control while driving? Some Tesla owners are happy about the touchscreen controlling everything, while others wish they had a few buttons and knobs for the AC/heating, the radio, the locks, etc. And plenty of non-Tesla owners have said they want those tactile controls.
Well, now someone has done something about that.
A startup in Norway called Greenmission is launching a little bar that you snap onto the bottom of the touchscreen to give yourself those kinds of controls. They are launching the product on Kickstarter. Unfortunately, I’m a little late noticing and covering this, so there’s just about an hour and a half left to support the project if you want to get in early for some special Kickstarter pics. I’ll also keep this short and sweet for that reason, and since the whole thing is presented well over on Kickstarter.
Jump to that page and check out the “CTRL-Platform” for more fun, several other features/products, pics, disclosures, etc. I think it looks quite cool and like a usability upgrade,
Again, jump here to learn more and support the project.
