Coal Ministry Honours BCCL for Outstanding Performance in Special Campaign 5.0 – Indian PSU
Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has been honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Ministry of Coal for its exceptional performance under Special Campaign 5.0, conducted in line with the directives of the Government of India.
The recognition was presented on 13 November 2025 in New Delhi during the half-yearly review meeting of the coal sector. Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, handed over the certificate to Manoj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, BCCL. Also present on the occasion was Kumar Manoj, General Manager (HR & CSR), BCCL.
Major Achievements Under Special Campaign 5.0
BCCL earned this honour for its significant achievements in sanitation, record management, and revenue generation through scrap disposal, marking a strong contribution to the goals of the national cleanliness drive.
Key accomplishments include:
- Cleaning of 79 sites across BCCL command areas
- 6.67 lakh sq. ft. of space made well-organized, clean, and reusable
- ₹68.19 lakh revenue generated through systematic scrap disposal
- Review of 4,220 files, with successful closure or cancellation of 4,133 physical and e-files
These efforts reflect BCCL’s commitment to improved efficiency, transparency, and operational discipline.
Event Highlights
Coal Secretary Vikram Dev Dutt, senior officials of the Ministry of Coal, and representatives from various coal sector PSUs attended the ceremony. The recognition places BCCL among the top performers in Special Campaign 5.0.
