Conductor and composer Julian Wachner has agreed to plead guilty to five counts of possession of child sex abuse material and to one count of possession of cocaine after he allegedly admitted to using cryptocurrency hundreds of times to buy child porn.
As part of a plea agreement, he would be convicted of six counts: Five counts on possession of child sex abuse material, a level five felony and one count on Possession of cocaine, a level five felony.
The plea agreement will drop the remains for counts and Wachner could be facing 10 years in prison. Wachner’s next trial has been set for August 27, 2026.
Wachner was arrested in 2025 for child pornography accusations in Indianapolis and was a fourth grade teacher in 2024 following a background check. In 2022, he was accused of sexual assault by a Juilliard employee and was then dismissed by Trinity Wall Street, where he served as Music Director for 11 years.
