Crstl, a California firm whose platform provides a B2B commerce network, today said it had gained new investment backing from Mosaic General Partnership and Cohen Circle Fintech Ventures with participation from Shopify Ventures, the investment arm of Shopify.

According to the San Francisco-based firm, the money will help drive its mission to build next-generation digital infrastructure that enables businesses to expand beyond direct-to-consumer into wholesale, marketplaces, and omnichannel retail. Crstl says that approach can help to modernize retail EDI, supply chain compliance, and omnichannel expansion.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the new financing brings Crstl’s total funding to over $10 million, and will accelerate the expansion of Crstl’s AI-native solutions for brands, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and 3PLs. The system supports those users through seamless retail supply chain compliance and connectivity across WMS, 3PL, and ERP systems.

“We’re excited to have fresh capital and new investors onboard as we scale Crstl’s intelligent B2B commerce platform,” Dipti Desai, Co-Founder and CEO of Crstl, said in a release. “The lines between B2B and B2C commerce are blurring quickly, and the last few years have reinforced the importance of a diversified, omnichannel strategy. Businesses of all sizes need intelligent, scalable infrastructure that meets the demands of modern commerce and adapts to today’s fast evolving landscape.”
