CCHAA partners with Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur to launch Six-Month Diploma Course in EXIM and Global Supply Chain
KOLKATA : The Calcutta Custom House Agents Association (CCHAA) has entered into a meaningful partnership with Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur to promote skill development and create industry-ready talent for India’s growing EXIM, customs and logistics ecosystem.
As part of the collaboration, a six-month Diploma Course in EXIM, Customs Documentation, Global Supply Chain and Digitisation has been launched, providing students with practical knowledge and industry-oriented exposure to the rapidly evolving international trade and logistics sector.
The initiative marks a proud and memorable milestone for CCHAA and reflects its commitment to contributing to the development of skilled professionals who can meet the changing requirements of the Customs, Freight forwarding, Shipping and Global supply chain industries.
Speaking on the occasion, CCHAA expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Revered Swami Ektachidanand Maharaj and the entire Ramakrishna Mission Narendrapur family for providing the Association with an opportunity to contribute to the skill development of the next generation.
The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by introducing students to key areas such as EXIM procedures, customs documentation, regulatory compliance, international trade practices, logistics operations, global supply chains and digitalisation.
The collaboration is expected to provide students with a stronger understanding of the practical aspects of international trade and logistics while preparing them for career opportunities across the wider EXIM ecosystem.
The inaugural programme was also graced by Shri Naseem Arshi, Principal Commissioner of Customs (Port), as the Chief Guest. His presence and valuable guidance added significance to the occasion and provided encouragement to the students and stakeholders participating in the initiative.
