In a move aimed at strengthening employee welfare and financial security, Coal India Limited held discussions with State Bank of India on enhancing the Corporate Salary Package (CSP) benefits for its workforce.

Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal met senior SBI officials, including Manoranjan Panda (General Manager – CCGO East), N.R. Lenka (Deputy General Manager – CCG Coal), and P.K. Mansingka (Deputy General Manager – SPA), at Coal India’s corporate headquarters in Kolkata.

During the interaction, both sides deliberated on proposals to enhance the accidental insurance coverage available under the Corporate Salary Package from the existing ₹1 crore to ₹1.5 crore, along with a range of additional banking benefits for Coal India employees.

The discussions focused on improving value-added financial services, expanding employee-centric banking solutions, and exploring innovative offerings tailored to the evolving needs of Coal India’s workforce. The proposed enhancements are expected to further strengthen the social security framework and financial well-being of employees across Coal India and its subsidiaries.
