Leaders at Ireland-based forklift manufacturing company Combilift are celebrating the spirit of giving this holiday season, combining a Christmas tradition with a fundraiser to benefit the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Combilift recently launched its annual “Twelve Days of Christmas” video, which offers a lighthearted musical tour of Combilift’s Monaghan, Ireland, facility, hosted by employees from across the company. This year, the project also honors the production of Combilift’s 100,000th forklift with a chance to win the multi-directional Combi-CBE—in the color “golden.”
Tickets for the drawing can be purchased via Combilift’s website through December 15. All proceeds go to UNICEF Ireland’s Children’s Emergency Fund, which delivers lifesaving aid to children affected by conflict and disasters around the world.
“By entering the [drawing], you’re not just one step closer to winning the Golden Forklift—you’re also supporting a meaningful cause that makes a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children,” Combilift’s leaders said in a press release announcing the competition November 28. “Join us in spreading Christmas cheer while supporting a truly worthy cause.”
The Golden Combilift-CBE is a 6,000-pound capacity electric forklift that combines the capabilities of a counterbalance forklift, side loader, and VNA (very narrow aisle) truck in one machine. As the landmark 100,000th Combilift ever built, “this exclusive truck isn’t just powerful and practical, it’s a unique piece of Combilift history that one lucky winner will own,” company leaders also said.
