Decline in reading ‘main’ threat to EU book trade as turnover down 30%, FEP warns

The “main issue” facing the book trade is the declining number of readers, the Federation of European Publishers (FEP) warned in its annual Frankfurter Buchmesse presentation on the main data and trends in the EU book market on 7th October.
