Dr. V. Suguna, Senior Manager (RAJBHASHA), RINL Selected Director (Official Language) In Railway Board – Indian PSU
Dr. V Suguna, presently working as Senior Manager (Rajbhasha), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has been selected as Director (Official Language) in Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India.
Dr. V Suguna has been working in RINL since 1992 and is associated in implementation of Official Language, Translation of various documents and all activities related to propagation of Rajbhasha Hindi. She is working as Sub-Editor of ‘Sugandh’ Hindi House Magazine of RINL since inception i.e. 2001. ‘Sugandh’ Magazine bagged the prestigious ‘Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar’ seven times in last 10 years by Department of Official Language, Ministry of Official Language, Govt. of India. Her contribution towards organizing National level Seminars, Conferences and publishing the special issues on the topics related to Rajbhasha, Management, Steel Sector and other Technical Subjects is praiseworthy.
Dr. V. Suguna was awarded the prestigious Rajbhasha Gaurav Puraskar from the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the articles:
- ‘Baba Nagarjuna Evam Unki Samajik Chetana’ (Baba Nagarjun and his social consciousness) in 2013. The award was given by the then Hon’ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee at National Hindi Day Celebrations on 14.09.2013 in New Delhi.
- ‘Ispat Utpadan Evam Paryavaran Sanrakshan Ka Anokha Samanjasya’ (Unique coherence of Steel Production and Environment Conservation) in 2017. The award was given by the then Hon’ble President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind at National Hindi Day Celebrations on 14.09.2017 in New Delhi.
Dr. V. Suguna was awarded Ph.D from Dr.BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad in 2023 for the thesis ‘Ikkeesvin Sadi Ki Hindi Kavita Mein Paryavaran Evam Paristhitiki Sandarbh’ (Environmental & Ecological Aspects in Hindi Poetry of 21st Century).
