Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited inaugurated the new academic session of SunRise University (SRU) on 29th August 2024 in a grand function held at University Campus, Alwar, Rajasthan. Addressing the students on this occasion, Dr. Dwivedi said that starting a new academic year is always a special occasion which symbolizes new beginnings, new opportunities, and new dreams and this is the time to lay the foundation for the future. Quoting the great leader Nelson Mandela, Dr. Dwivedi said that education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world. It is not just about acquiring degrees but about expanding horizons, challenging beliefs, and becoming the best version of oneself. Further in his address, he urged the students to not only focus on academic excellence but also give importance to values, ethics, and integrity. The world needs leaders who are not only knowledgeable but also principled and empathetic. On this occasion Dr. Dwivedi also handed over Ph. D (Honoris Causa) Degrees to the students.
