US carrier Frontier Airlines is the latest airline to give away one million frequent flyer miles this summer. The carrier is looking to turn one of its loyalty program winners into a “Miles Millionaire!” as it launches the sweepstakes in conjunction with a sale of two million seats.

The ultra-low-cost carrier announced the “Who Wants to Be a Miles Millionaire” sweepstakes launches this morning, with the promotion running through 23:59 Mountain time on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. Participants can enter on the official sweepstakes page. The grand prize is one million

Frontier’s latest promotion follows similar giveaways from Southwest Airlines, with one million Rapid Rewards Points, and the British Airways Executive Club’s offer of one million Avios, which is still running. Tyri Squyres, Vice President of Marketing at Frontier Airlines, noted how happy this could make the potential winner:

One must have a Frontier Miles account and membership number to be eligible for the promotion. The carrier confirmed today that new members will be able to enter the sweepstakes immediately after joining.

The airline concurrently announced a limited-time promotion with two million seats on sale to ensure every participant feels like a “Miles Millionaire.” Flights start at $19 one-way and must be booked by midnight on Thursday for travel at least a week in advance. The headline fares are valid for nonstop travel on Monday through Thursday and Saturdays through October 7th and exclude select international routes and services to Las Vegas and Florida.
