Generix Group is launching a software package that allows companies to deploy a software as a service (SaaS) warehouse management system (WMS) platform in as little as 16 weeks, the firm says.
The product called “Generix Solochain Now” combines the capabilities of the company’s Solochain WMS with industry best-practices, according to Generix, which provides SaaS solutions for supply chain, finance, commerce, and B2B integration. That flexibility allows companies to expand the functional scope beyond their core WMS needs with capabilities such as putaway, task interleaving, picking, cartonization, and waving.
Rapid deployment is completed in three phases: analysis to design the best solution for the customer’s requirements; physical preparation of the site, testing and user training; and operational go-live including customer care for support, the company says.
