The Erie, Pennsylvania-based third party logistics provider (3PL) Logistics Plus today said it has acquired LoadDelivered Logistics, a Chicago-based freight brokerage business, saying the move will provide customers with holistic transportation management solutions while leveraging back-office synergies across both organizations.

Following the deal, LoadDelivered Logistics will continue operating under its “well-established legacy brand,” while working closely with the Logistics Plus North American Division (NAD) brokerage team.

“This acquisition represents another step forward in our commitment to helping customers navigate complex supply chains,” Craig Warnhuis, Director of North American Operations for Logistics Plus, said in a release. “Together, we will create a more robust and scalable platform for shippers seeking reliable and flexible transportation solutions.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but sources at Logistics Plus said that LoadDelivered’s leadership team will be staying in place, with plans to work closely with Logistics Plus.
