This cabin has been a long time in the making, but it seems the wait was worth it!

Simple Flying’s Tom Boon recently had the opportunity to test out the seats for himself on a visit to Lufthansa. Last week, the airline operated a charter flight with a mix of employees who had won a raffle to be onboard and visiting press, who flew from Munich to Frankfurt. Lufthansa CEO Jen Ritter was even onboard to help the flight crew on the special flight, which you can read about in the flight review here.

One of the most notable differences compared to products on other airlines is the differentiation between seats in business class. Travelers can reserve a specific seat as before, with reservations for The Classic Seat always free of charge. Seats with additional comfort (the Business Class Suite, the Extra Space Seat, the Privacy Seat by the window, and the Extra Long Bed) can also be booked in advance via the existing reservation system for an additional charge.
