Nestled in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Ratlam began its sacred journey on 22nd April 2023. With humble beginnings — offering classes from Nursery to Grade IV and welcoming 294 young learners — the school has blossomed into a vibrant centre of learning rooted in human values. Now in its third academic year, it proudly accommodates 675 students, offering education up to Grade IX.

This institution stands as the fifth school established by the Sri Sathya Sai State Trust, Madhya Pradesh, following the noble legacy of Sai schools in Indore, Bhopal, and Guna. Each of these schools is a living expression of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s divine mission — to infuse education with the five fundamental human values: Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love), and Ahimsa (Non-violence).

With Bhagawan’s divine blessings, the school today celebrates a remarkable milestone — the official inauguration of its dedicated building. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Cabinet Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, and RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

A Milestone Blessed by Divine Presence

Addressing the gathering, Rathnakar reflected on the sacred journey of the Sathya Sai educational movement. What once began as a small seed of love and learning sown by Bhagawan, he noted, has grown into a vast and mighty tree, branching across the Nation — nurturing institutions that uphold Swami’s timeless ideals. He hailed this moment as a divine affirmation of Swami’s omnipresence and silent guidance in every selfless endeavour. Extending heartfelt warmth, Rathnakar personally invited Scindia to visit Prasanthi Nilayam, the spiritual abode of Bhagawan, to receive his divine darshan and blessings.

A Tribute to Swami’s Legacy

With great reverence and energy, Jyotiraditya Scindia praised Bhagawan’s remarkable legacy of selfless service. He described the founding of value-based educational institutions as one of the greatest boons to our motherland. Sharing a deeply personal note, he recalled how both his grandmother, Vijaya Raje Scindia, and father, Madhav Rao Scindia, were admirers of Bhagawan and had the rare blessing of receiving His divine benedictions.

Among all of Swami’s teachings, he said, the mahavakyas — “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never” — touched his heart the most. Sri Scindia also applauded the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for its unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in uplifting lives through seva, values, and education. Observing the phenomenal progress of the Ratlam school, he confidently stated that its students would emerge as responsible citizens, ready to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s bright future.

With a smile and a spark of admiration, he remarked that Sri Ratnakar, though 55 years young, radiates youth and dynamism — a living embodiment of Swami’s divine glow and guiding light.

A Beacon of Talent and Discipline

In just a short span of time, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Ratlam has begun making its mark both nationally and globally. The school’s students secured 3rd place in the National Yoga Championship held in Surat — a proud moment showcasing their discipline, strength, and focus. Adding to this list of achievements, two students participated in a historic moment at the Tansen Tabla Samaroh, contributing to a Guinness World Record as part of an ensemble of 1,500 tabla performers playing in unison. It was a moment of great pride and joy for the entire Sai fraternity.
