PTC India Q2 Net Profit Falls to ₹113 Crore Despite Revenue Growth; Subsidiary Gets RBI Relief – Indian PSU
PTC India limited has reported a standalone net profit of ₹113.23 crore in the second quarter of FY 2026–27, down from ₹133.82 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, despite higher revenue.
The decline in quarterly profitability comes alongside a significant regulatory development for its subsidiary, PTC India Financial Services (PFS), which has met the Reserve Bank of India’s 75% infrastructure finance threshold.
In another key development, PFS received approval to reverse an impairment reserve of ₹191.20 crore. The reversal is expected to strengthen the subsidiary’s balance sheet position and provide financial relief.
The RBI threshold achievement marks an important milestone for PFS, while the approved impairment reserve reversal offers additional support to its financial position.
However, PTC India’s standalone results reflect a year-on-year decline in net profit, even as revenue increased during the quarter.
