We’ve got another daily roundup of solar energy, energy storage, and electric vehicle news to share. The cleantech stories just keep rolling in, as more cleantech records are broken and cleantech products make their way into more and more consumers’ hands.

In the realm of electric cars, it appears like a caravan is making its way from Denmark to Le Mans, France. The Danish engineering company Danfoss says that it will be bringing 47 electric vehicles and one of its electric trucks to that location. “The world’s biggest electric road trip,” as the organizers refer to it, will include the 20-ton, 17-meter-long electric vehicle.

We’ve also got the record-breaking energy news we already shared. A new report shows the highest energy storage capacity ever installed in the 1st quarter in the US was installed in Q1 2024, representing an 84% increase from Q1 2023. Nevada, California, and Texas accounted for 90% of new grid-scale capacity added.

In between, we’ve got news from Oxford PV, SolarEdge, Jaguar Land Rover, Chery, Volkswagen, Renault, ChargePoint, Volkswagen, and others.
