Rich homage Paid To The Father of Indian Constitution Dr. B.R. Ambedkar On His 133rd Jayanti At RINL – Indian PSU
RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant joined the Nation in celebrating the 133rd Jayanti of Dr BR Ambedkar in Ukkunagaram on 14th April 2024.
The chief guest of the program Shri AK Bagchi, director(projects) and additional charge director (Operations), RINL garlanded the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on this occasion in Ukkunagaram at Dr. BR Ambedkar Park, Sector-6, Ukkunagaram, today.
Shri K. Sanjeeva Rao, GM(HR)-IR has presided over the meeting. Shri B. Toudanna, President of the SC&ST Association spoke about the great contribution of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to the nation.
Remembering Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his 133rd Jayanthi Celebration, Shri AK Bagchi said that “Baba Saheb was a Towering and Multi-talented personality”. Shri AK Bagchi said that Dr. BR Ambedkar never accepted the inequality in the society and championed the cause of marginalized sections and worked very hard towards hopes and aspirations.
Shri AK Bagchi called upon everyone to take pledge that we all will work together to uphold the values of Dr. BR Ambedkar. Shri AK Bagchi lauded the visionary foresightedness, hard work and forward thinking of Dr. BR Ambedkar in gifting all Indians a most powerful Constitution which ensures social justice, equality, women empowerment etc.
Shri SC Pandey, Director (Personnel), Shri Ch. SRVGK Ganesh, Director (finance), Dr B. Ganga Rao, Corporator, 78th ward, GVMC, leaders/ representatives from Steel Executives’ Association (SEA), trade unions AITUC (Recognized union), INTUC & CITU, SC&ST Association, OBC Association, WIPS also offered floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr BR Amedkar’s statue on the occasion.
Senior Officers and employees also participated in the programme.
