In a heartwarming tribute to humanity, compassion, and selfless service, Dr. Salim G. Purushothaman, Director (Operations) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, felicitated two employees for their remarkable contribution to society through voluntary blood donation.
K.V.L. Narayana Reddy, General Foreman (Mechanical) in the Raw Material Handling Plant (Works) Department, was honoured for donating blood an extraordinary 63 times. Karri Srinivas, Deputy General Manager in the Safety Engineering Department, was recognized for donating rare blood 58 times, providing a lifeline to numerous patients in need.
Congratulating both employees, Dr. Purushothaman lauded their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service while efficiently discharging their professional responsibilities at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He described their contribution as a shining example of selfless service and social commitment.
He remarked that their actions embody the timeless message of “Help Ever… Hurt Never,” advocated by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. According to him, their dedication to helping others reflects the highest values of compassion and inspires fellow employees and citizens alike.
