A historic memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeão) and the Brazilian air mobility startup MICAELIS. This innovative collaboration aims to:
- Conduct autonomous eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) test flights to and from the airport.
- Design and establish a fully integrated vertiport.
- Enhance the passenger and cargo experience by optimising the journey between the terminal and the vertiport.
