SCOPE Hosts Leadership Session with Global Advisor Ram Charan on Navigating Uncertainty – Indian PSU
The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) convened a high-impact leadership session on ‘Leadership in Uncertain Times’, featuring globally acclaimed business advisor and bestselling author Ram Charan.
The session was held in the presence of K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman, SCOPE and CMD of NBCC (India) Limited, along with Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE. Organized as part of Public Sector Day celebrations, the event witnessed participation from Members of PESB, senior officials from various ministries and government departments including DPE, SCOPE Executive Board Members, and CMDs and Directors from across Public Sector Enterprises.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Charan provided a strategic framework for leaders to navigate volatility in today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape. He emphasized the importance of asking the right questions in uncertain times, highlighting three critical dimensions:
- Who is driving the change or uncertainty
- Why the change is occurring
- What patterns are emerging from the change
He encouraged leaders to transform uncertainty into an opportunity for institutional growth and resilience.
The session also featured an engaging interaction, where Prof. Charan addressed queries on talent identification, perception management, adaptive leadership, and the imperative of continuous learning in dynamic environments.
