Earlier this month, the airline introduced a special discount on premium Business and SkyBoss tickets to Australia, when booked on the website, Vietjet app, or authorized agents of the carrier and applying the promo code HAPPYBDAY50 to enjoy an immediate 50% discount on ticket prices.

This was also available to passengers flying between Australia and Mumbai, New Delhi, Kochi, Tiruchirappalli, and Ahmedabad in India as a way to attract more passengers for flight connections via Vietnam.

Meeting travel demand

Vietjet started 2024 on a good note. While the carrier has been expanding its network since last year, it has also continued that momentum this year. It wet-leased some Airbus narrowbody planes to meet the increasing demand for travel during the Lunar New Year and also ordered 20 Airbus A330-900 planes at the Singapore Airshow in February.
