Inventory counting robot maker Dexory has launched a module that adds further functionality to its DexoryView product, harnessing the real-time data collated by its autonomous inventory-counting bots as well as existing WMS input to enhance the flow of goods, movement of staff, and utilization of space.
The new DexoryView Optimisation module has been designed to solve operational efficiencies by enhancing On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance, simplifying compliance audits, and mitigating safety risks. According to the firm, it does that with five key features: outbound optimizer, slotting verification, consolidation planner, replenishment optimizer, and congestion analysis.
Together, those features help users handle the fast-paced nature of warehousing, which has exacerbated hurdles such as rising costs, inventory mismanagement, and operational bottlenecks. Without appropriate technology, poorly optimized warehouses mean that businesses are potentially using their human resources ineffectively and missing out on further margins due to suboptimal good placement and order fulfilment, Dexory says.
