Scott Technology’s Transbotics business has unveiled its latest advancement in automated guided vehicle (AGV) technology at ProMat 2025. Engineered for narrow aisle ways, large lift capacities, and higher reach, the NexBot modular AGVs are configurable for a broad range of applications and built for the demands of industrial and manufacturing environments. With a Universal AGV on the front end with customizable backend modules, the NexBot can operate as a counterbalance forklift, a tugger, a roller deck, lift deck, or straddle lift depending on company’s operational needs.

“For over four decades, Transbotics has been at the forefront of AGV innovation, delivering advanced automation solutions for material handling and logistics,” said Mike Christman, CEO of Scott Technology, during a press conference at ProMat earlier this week. “Over the past 18 months, the Charlotte-based R&D team has been developing NexBot, marking another significant step in Scott’s commitment to advancing material handling and logistics automation. We are more than excited to showcase this.”

The NexBot is designed for smooth integration into existing operations, is powered by fast-charging batteries, and features precise navigation (natural feature or laser reflective navigation) and intelligent controls.
