NTPC North Karanpura Launches Comprehensive Relief Effort To Fight Water Scarcity – Indian PSU

In response to the pressing water scarcity issues faced by Project Affected Villages (PAVs) during the scorching summer, NKSTPP has launched a comprehensive relief effort. Commencing from May 8, 2024, in four pivotal villages – Raham, Tandwa, Kamta, and Garilong – NKSTPP has deployed a fleet of nine water tankers to alleviate the dire situation.

Each water tanker, boasting a minimum capacity of 4000 litres, embarks on daily trips to the assigned villages. Raham, Kamta, and Garilong witness eight trips per day, while Tandwa receives twelve, underscoring the strategic allocation of resources.

Crucially, the distribution of water tankers is meticulously overseen by representatives of local governance bodies, including Mukhias, Up-Mukhias, and conscientious ward members, ensuring transparency and efficiency in resource allocation.

This initiative stands as a testament to NKSTPP’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community welfare. As the scorching summer heat persists, NKSTPP remains steadfast in its mission to provide essential relief to those most in need.
