NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, will conduct the Mumbai Regional Round of the NTPC Electron Quiz 2026–27 on September 17, 2026, for students pursuing Engineering and Management programmes.
The regional round will be held at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone, Andheri East, Mumbai. This year’s quiz theme is “Anything and Everything from the World of Business and Management.” Each participating team will comprise two students.
The competition will begin with a written round, followed by an on-stage multimedia finale featuring the top six teams. The top two teams from Mumbai will qualify for the national-level competition.
The regional winner will receive ₹60,000, while the runner-up and third-placed teams will get ₹40,000 and ₹20,000, respectively. Teams finishing fourth to sixth will receive ₹8,000 each. Audience prizes will also be awarded.
At the national level, the winning team will receive ₹1 lakh, with prizes of ₹60,000 and ₹40,000 for the second- and third-placed teams.
There is no registration or participation fee, and institutions can nominate multiple teams. Registrations will remain open until September 15, 2026 through the designated registration link or via email at electronquiz2025@ntpc.co.in.
NTPC has been organising the Electron Quiz since 2004 to engage with students and promote knowledge, analytical thinking and healthy competition among young minds.
